New Canvas from Bear Creek Canvas
Bear Creek Canvas received our canvas late last week and has begun the work to create our replacements. So far my experience with Bear Creek has been great. They have answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. I called them up as well and they have a lot of experience and knowledge for people that are restoring their pop ups. I look forward to asking them more questions and of course receiving our brand new canvas.

Hi;
ReplyDeleteI have a 1971 Skamper I'm in the process of restoring; however not as much as you have done.
I have read your entire blog and you did some great work.
I have done some extensive patching on my tent as I can't afford to buy a new one. I also took my entire lift system apart; cleaned and replaced parts where needed.
The biggest problem I have now is making the supports to hold the canvass over the beds; I didn't see any pics of those. Would you happen to have any pics that show the supports that hold the canvass up over the beds?
What are your supports made of; and what is the approximate diameter of those supports? I have never even seen the supports so I have no idea what they should look like, any information or pics you could supply would be greatly appreciated.
Very Best Regards
Ken
