Hotels

Most people when traveling will have to stay in a hotel. We always go with hotels with indoor pools. Free breakfast is always nice too but not necessary. When booking a hotel always check sites like Yahoo travel and similar but also try the direct hotel's website where you may get a cheaper rate. There is also another trick to use when booking with companies that have a spot for discount codes. If they have a spot to enter discount codes during checkout usually when it comes to pay for the rooms or hold it, stop and open a new internet tab and search for discount codes for that particular service or hotel you are using to checkout. We have been able to save 10% - 20% extra using this technique. It does not work all of the time but it is sweet when it does.

3/12/12- Just got back from a long weekend in Denver and we stayed in a La Quinta Hotel. There are two La Quinta's in Denver off of I-25. We stayed in the older La Quinta off of Arapahoe because their prices were lower and they had an indoor pool. We got a two room suite with two queen/double beds for under $60 a night. This La Quinta was an older hotel and it showed a little but for the price it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend staying there. The free continental breakfast was great as well and only added to the value. We have stayed at lots of La Quinta's and they have all been really good for traveling for our family.
